In conformity with our school vision ‘We value our values’ we, at DPS Nava Raipur, hope to reach out to students, parents, teachers and staff earnestly, draw their ambition in becoming competent enough to fight against the oddities, carve a niche for themselves as beacons of light in darkness and make a lasting contribution to school life and society at large.
As the Headmistress, I feel honored in having the opportunity to be an integral part of the educating fraternity. My experience of teaching the middle school at DPS, Raipur and other schools in my sprawling career of 37 years; selected deliberately to groom students in their formative years, has been so rewarding that I feel I can dream of commencing a school by motivating the children to cultivate their imagination and knowledge in order to be in charge of their own learning, to move from known to unknown, concrete to abstract and local to global.
For the education of the budding hands, I offer a cart full of suaveness interlaced with inclusive and diverse diaspora of extra-curricular programme of sport, music, drama, educational expeditions and many other pursuits, all designed to educate the whole person. Our aim is to impart high performance learning through a pedagogy that requires teachers to in still in our students thinking skills and a growth mind-set in an enquiry-based, fun-learning environment. These most essential ingredients are significant benchmarks for success in the 21st century. So, we intend to complement and enhance them in the early years of a child’s education through age appropriate experiences.
In lieu of my promises, I take great pleasure in extending my invitation to join our school, DPS, Nava Raipur for learners who will make a difference.
